Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Accountant to manage financial transactions, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support the overall financial health of the company. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, knowledge of UAE financial regulations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Management & Reporting
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger, journals, and financial statements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
Budgeting & Analysis
Support in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecastsConduct variance analysis and provide explanations for budget deviationsOffer insights and suggestions to optimize costs and improve efficiencyAccounts Payable & Receivable
Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and on timeMonitor aging reports and follow up on overdue paymentsReconcile bank statements and ensure accurate posting of transactionsTax & Compliance
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including filing returns and maintaining accurate tax recordsCoordinate with external auditors and assist in audit preparationMaintain financial records in accordance with local regulatory and internal policy standardsSystems & Software
Utilize accounting software to manage records and generate reportsEnsure data integrity across finance systemsRecommend process improvements and automation opportunities where possibleRequirements
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or ACCA preferred)2–5 years of relevant accounting experienceStrong knowledge of UAE financial regulations, VAT laws, and reporting standardsProficient in accounting software and MS Office SuiteExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
