Diesel Generator Electrician

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation maintenance troubleshooting and repair of diesel generators and associated electrical systems The role requires strong technical knowledge a customerfocused approach and the ability to work independently on various rental projects Key Responsibilities Perform electrical installation maintenance and repairs on diesel generators ranging from 40kVA to kVA Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in control panels alternators and generator electrical system Electrical wiring of new generators including control panels and electrical components Install and commission rental generators plants on customer sites including cable laying and connection to load panels Install and operate LV MV temporary power plants Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance on generator electrical systems Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Configure and troubleshoot synchronizing panels and loadsharing systems Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all site activities Maintain accurate service records including job cards and service reports Provide technical support to customers and advise on electrical issues Collaborate with the mechanical team to ensure complete system functionality Respond to emergency breakdown calls as required
