The Sales Manager for Ready-MixConcrete will be responsible for leading the sales efforts within the company’s concrete division. This includes developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing a high-performing sales team, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, contractors, developers, and other stakeholders in the construction industry. The Sales Manager will be a key player in driving business growth, meeting revenue targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction with high-quality concrete products and services.
- Identify new business opportunities by prospecting new clients, especially in the construction and infrastructure sectors.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of industry developments.
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to inquiries and concerns.
- Advise clients on the selection of concrete products based on their project needs and specifications.
- Lead the sales and Fleet Management team to meet or exceed sales targets, ensuring efficient sales processes from lead generation through to closing.
- Prepare sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage pricing strategies for profitable deals
- Regularly report on sales performance, opportunities, and challenges to senior leadership.
- Utilize CRM tools to track client interactions, sales metrics, and ensure data accuracy.
- Assess competitor pricing, marketing strategies, and offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
