Maintenance Supervisor Engineer

Job Type FullTime Industry Fabrication Heavy Engineering Experience 6 years preferred We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Supervisor Engineer to oversee the repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment in our fabrication shop The ideal candidate will have handson experience with mechanical hydraulic and electrical systems related to fabrication and heavy engineering environments Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for all fabrication shop equipment Ensure regular servicing repair and preventive maintenance of machinery such as Overhead cranes Hydra machines Forklifts Rolling machines Compressors Welding and cutting equipment Other shoprelated tools and infrastructure Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns efficiently and minimize downtime Maintain accurate maintenance logs reports and equipment records Coordinate with vendors and service providers when needed Ensure compliance with safety standards and company maintenance policies Lead a team of maintenance technicians and provide technical guidance Requirements Minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance within a fabrication or heavy engineering environment in the similar role Strong knowledge of industrial equipment mechanical systems and preventive maintenance techniques Ability to read technical drawings manuals and schematics Excellent problemsolving and leadership skills Strong understanding of workplace safety and machine operation standards Preferred Skills Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems Familiarity with CMMS Computerized Maintenance Management System Handson troubleshooting and repair abilities
