Global Head of Analytics
Job Purpose
Step into a world of innovation as the Global Head of Analytics. You will lead a cutting-edge team of data analytics in the digital-first Personal Banking segment, which forms the largest customer segment in the Retail Bank. You will be based in Dubai, the global headquarters of the bank, and predominantly covering the home market (UAE) on a day-to-day basis, whilst influencing strategies across our other markets (Egypt & Pakistan).
You will lead a team responsible for groundbreaking data science projects to enhance digital engagement, drive customer value through lifecycle management, whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policy.
Key Result Areas
- Data Science Use Cases – Developing, implementing & tracking of data science use cases to increase digital adoption, improve customer engagement, and increase customer value.
- Advanced Data Analysis – Analyzing trends and resolving complex business issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic Data Insights- Developing & maintaining MIS reports that track key performance indicators from a customer, business, operations, and finance lens.
- Campaign management – Manage multi-channel communications with a mindset of continuous learning and optimization.
- Customer value management – Enhance customer value and digital engagement through data-led portfolio interventions and marketing campaigns
- Audit, Regulatory compliance – Uphold the highest standards of compliance in activities as well as regulatory reporting.
- People Leadership – Recruit, mentor & train analytics professionals to build a world-class global Neo Analytics squad.
- Acquisition quality – Boost acquisition quality by understanding customer personas, activation rates, straight-through processing, and portfolio performance.
- Product penetration – Increase cross-product penetration across asset and fee-generating products, as well as liabilities growth.
- Data support for enabling functions - Provide data support to marketing, audit, governance, compliance, fraud management, operations, and finance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Over 12 years’ experience in data science or advanced analytics in a digital-first environment (preferably retail banking), with at least 5 years of people management experience.Over 5 years’ experience in marketing analytics, with expertise in advanced analytics techniques such as customer segmentation, decision tree / random forest, propensity models.Expertise in data engineering & report development / maintenance (Power BI preferred)Experience in agile ways of working and working with Big Data is preferred.Experience in a multi-country, multi-cultural, and multi-ethnic team environment preferred.J-18808-Ljbffr
