الوصف الوظيفي
This role is responsible for supervising the inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of AOVs, MOVs, and associated mechanical systems while ensuring compliance with nuclear safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Candidates must have proven hands-on experience using one or more of the following industry-standard diagnostic tools:
  • VOTES Infinity
  • Viper 20
  • Liberty QuikLook
  • Emerson AMS / ValveLink
  • Fisher FlowScanner
  • Teledyne TestMate / PressureMate
  • MOVATS / DIAGMOV
  • PV-Pro (Bently Nevada / Baker Hughes)
  • Diagnostic Xplorer (MOV/AOV Xplorer)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostic testing on various valve types (AOV & MOV) using specialized equipment and software.
  • Troubleshoot valve and actuator issues, including torque/thrust discrepancies, stroke time anomalies, and position feedback errors.
  • Conduct functional testing under simulated operating conditions to verify valve integrity and responsiveness.
  • Execute leakage tests for safety and control valves to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
  • Validate actuator calibration and confirm torque/thrust settings according to OEM specifications and industry standards (API, ASME, ISA).
  • Analyze diagnostic data to identify early signs of degradation, mechanical wear, or actuator misalignment.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports documenting test results, findings, and recommended corrective actions.
  • Update valve diagnostic records in asset management systems (SAP, Maximo, etc.) for traceability and compliance.
  • Support predictive and preventive maintenance programs by monitoring valve health and performance trends.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for valve-related failures and assist in developing corrective action plans.
  • Provide technical support during shutdowns, turnarounds, and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and industry standards, including API, ASME, ISA, and plant-specific procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and OEMs for complex troubleshooting and compliance verification.

Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a nuclear power plant outage environment.
  • At least 5 years' hands-on experience with AOV/MOV inspection, testing, diagnostics, and maintenance.
  • Experience working with mechanical maintenance tools, machinery, and calibration equipment (e.g., VOTES Infinity).
  • Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric valve actuation systems.
  • Strong knowledge of nuclear maintenance standards, plant systems, and safety procedures.
  • Leadership experience supervising maintenance teams during outages and shutdowns.
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and using maintenance planning tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
