Mission Brief: Build the Future of Vision Retail Across the Middle East
Lenskart is on a mission to give the world access to affordable, high-quality eyewear — and the Middle East is one of the most exciting frontiers we've set our sights on. This is not a caretaker role. This is a builder's mandate.
You will architect and own Lenskart's growth engine across the GCC — taking a high-potential, early-stage regional business to a dominant, multi-channel consumer brand. You'll operate at the intersection of data, AI-powered marketing, and on-the-ground execution, making decisions that directly shape a $100M+ revenue opportunity.

Core Mandate
Own the regional P&L with full accountability for revenue growth, contribution margins, and capital efficiency. You won't just track KPIs — you'll design the systems that generate them.
Define and execute a region-wide growth strategy that uses AI-driven insights to identify demand patterns, customer segments, and expansion windows before they become obvious. Leverage Lenskart's proprietary data infrastructure to make faster, smarter bets than any competitor could.
Move beyond traditional planning — use predictive modelling, cohort intelligence, and real-time signal tracking to allocate resources where they compound.
2. AI-First Performance Marketing & Customer Acquisition
Lead a performance marketing function that is genuinely AI-native — not AI-adjacent. Build acquisition engines across paid media, affiliates, marketplaces, and partnerships that are continuously optimised through machine learning, not manual tuning.
Own CAC, LTV, and ROI as living metrics that your AI-powered stack actively improves. Drive data-led experimentation (A/B testing, funnel optimisation, cohort analysis) to push conversion and retention curves upward, week over week. Localise global campaigns with precision — using behavioural and cultural data signals specific to GCC consumers.
3. Commercial & Omnichannel Expansion
Scale a multi-channel distribution model spanning e-commerce, retail, distributors, and third-party platforms — and use data to decide which channel gets investment and when. Own pricing, assortment, and promotional strategy powered by real-time demand signals and competitive intelligence tools.
Identify and close strategic partnerships that unlock new customer segments. Build key account relationships that create distribution leverage, not just revenue lines.
4. Market Expansion Across GCC
Drive market entry and scale-up across UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain — with localised playbooks built on real consumer data, not assumptions. Ensure operational readiness, regulatory compliance, and brand consistency across every market you enter.
Be the person who knows this region better than anyone else in the building — and builds the systems that encode that knowledge at scale.
5. Team Building & Leadership
Build and lead a lean, high-performance team across Growth, Marketing, Sales, and Operations. Instil an AI-first, experimentation-driven culture where speed, ownership, and data fluency are the baseline — not the ceiling.
Develop your team's capability to work alongside AI tools — making them faster, sharper, and more effective in everything from campaign planning to demand forecasting.
6. Governance, Insights & Stakeholder Alignment
Deliver clear performance dashboards, growth forecasts, and market intelligence to global leadership. Be the regional voice of the business — representing Lenskart's brand and vision across industry forums, partner networks, and strategic conversations.
Ensure full adherence to legal, financial, and governance standards across all markets.
The Profile We're Looking For
Track Record That Speaks: You've owned and scaled P&L-driven businesses in high-growth consumer environments — ideally in D2C, FMCG, or retail. You've built acquisition engines, not just managed them. You have proven experience in GCC or broader Middle East markets.
AI & Data Fluency: You understand how to build and run AI-powered growth functions. You're fluent in growth metrics — CAC, LTV, MAPE, conversion funnels, retention curves — and you know how modern AI tools (predictive analytics, ML-driven marketing, demand intelligence platforms) change what's possible at every layer of the funnel.
Builder's Instinct: You're at your best in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where the playbook doesn't exist yet. You thrive on building systems that outlast you — teams, processes, and technology that compound over time.
Operator + Strategist: You can zoom out to define a 3-year market vision and zoom in to fix a CAC problem by Thursday. Both modes come naturally.

What You Bring
Proven P&L ownership and business-building experience in high-growth consumer or D2C environments
Strong background in AI-powered performance marketing and growth strategy execution
Experience in GCC or Middle East markets — you understand the landscape
Hands-on familiarity with growth tech: marketing automation, demand sensing tools, analytics platforms, and AI-driven media buying
MBA or equivalent from a leading institution preferred
Arabic language proficiency is an advantage
