Job Description
We are looking for a Cost Control Engineer to support budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting for our Al Jurf (JCB) project. The role ensures accurate cost monitoring, early risk identification, and strong financial governance throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with Planning, Commercial, Finance, Procurement, and site teams to maintain cost discipline and provide reliable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare project budgets and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS).
- Monitor actual vs. budgeted costs and report variances.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts, and dashboards.
- Validate quantities, productivity, and subcontractor payment applications.
- Review and verify subcontractor and supplier invoices.
- Track commitments, expenditures, and cost‑to‑complete (CTC) forecasts.
- Support EAC updates, cash flow planning, and variation cost assessments.
- Maintain accurate, auditable cost records and ERP system updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- 8–10 years’ experience in cost control (UAE preferred).
- Strong understanding of BOQs, cost structures, and commercial processes.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting.
- Knowledge of Planning coordination and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, BuildSmart, MS Dynamics).
- Preferred certifications: CCP®, CAE®, EVM, PMP®.
- Strong analytical, communication, and Excel skills.
