Our client is a leading international private banking group, headquartered in Europe, with a strong global presence. The bank is recognised for its conservative risk culture, robust governance framework,and long-standing relationships with high-net worth clients. It offers a highly structured environment with a strong focus on controls, compliance, and operational excellence.

Job Purpose-

To perform and support operational first-line controls within the front office environment, ensuring adherence to documentation standards, regulatory requirements, data integrity, and operational risk controls across client-facing activities.

Job Responsibilities-

Operational First-Line Controls

  1. Recording of required client-signed documentation for complex products
  2. Resolution of product risk bandwidth violations
  3. Ensuring completeness of order-taking information
  4. Completion of local portfolio reviews
  5. Completion of contact notes
  6. Completion of front office training requirements
  7. Completion of annual introducer reviews
  8. Management of front office systems access and availability, including liaison for BCP testing
  9. Transferring or closing client accounts
  10. Acting as system tool administrator for Data Leakage Protection
  11. Documentation of Cross Border Travel
  12. Managing callback procedures

Documentation Retention Procedures

  1. Control oversight of recording of client documentation
  2. Management of local filing room
  3. Management of annual client data purge process

Local Client Contact Database

  1. Administration of the local contact database and updating parameters as required
  2. Supporting resolution of day-to-day issues on the Contact Management Database

Project Management

  1. Facilitation and follow-up of operational process initiatives roll-out
  2. Provision of operational documentation for internal audit and regulatory requirements
  3. Implementation of required actions from operational/monitoring reviews (e.g., GIA)

Reporting

  1. Production of monthly Operational Control KRI reports
  2. Recording and reporting of operational incidents
  3. Quarterly Cross Border Travel reporting
  4. Quarterly IT Security reporting

Candidate Requirements

  1. Experience in front office operations, operational risk, controls, or compliance within banking or financial services
  2. Strong understanding of documentation governance and regulatory processes
  3. Exposure to private banking or wealth management environments is preferred
  4. Strong analytical and reporting skills, with attention to detail
  5. Experience in systems access management and operational support
  6. Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including front office, risk, compliance, and audit teams
  7. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
