At Sener, we are delivering some of the region's most complex and innovative Rail & Metro infrastructure projects. We are looking for a Drainage Lead to join our team in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will support a major 8-year PMC rail project in Riyadh, where you will lead the production, coordination, and technical delivery of Drainage and Wet Utilities design for landmark railway projects.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the production, coordination, and technical review of Drainage and Wet Utilities design for Rail & Metro infrastructure projects.

• Manage the Drainage design team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.

• Develop and review stormwater drainage, sewerage, and wet utilities designs in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.

• Coordinate closely with Civil, Structures, Geotechnical, Roads, Track, Utilities, Architecture, Systems, and BIM teams to ensure fully integrated design solutions.

• Ensure compliance with client requirements, Saudi regulations, AASHTO standards, EN Standards, and other applicable engineering codes.

• Lead multidisciplinary design reviews, technical workshops, constructability reviews, and value engineering initiatives.

• Review contractor design submissions, RFIs, engineering proposals, and design changes.

• Provide technical leadership and resolve complex engineering and coordination challenges throughout the design lifecycle.

• Mentor and develop Drainage engineers while promoting technical excellence and best practices.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

• Minimum 15 years of overall engineering experience.

• Minimum 10 years of Rail & Metro infrastructure experience is mandatory.

• Proven experience leading the production, coordination, and review of detailed design for drainage, sewerage, and wet utilities infrastructure.

• Extensive experience in stormwater drainage, sewerage, and wet utilities design for Rail & Metro infrastructure projects.

• Strong knowledge of AASHTO standards, EN Standards, Saudi Codes, and applicable engineering standards.

• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering coordination on complex infrastructure projects.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.

• Experience delivering designs across concept, preliminary, detailed, and IFC design stages.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on PMC, Engineer, or design consultancy assignments for major rail infrastructure projects.

• Experience working with international engineering consultancies.

• Familiarity with GCC railway standards and Saudi regulations.

• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams across multiple project phases.

• Experience with BIM-enabled design coordination and digital engineering workflows.

• Experience with Bentley OpenFlows, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, InfoDrainage, or equivalent hydraulic modelling tools.
