Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
Prepare, review, and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for construction and fit-out projects.
Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and prepare cost estimates.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction.
Measure completed work and verify contractor payment applications.
Track material usage and ensure timely procurement of required materials.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Identify project risks and recommend practical solutions to avoid delays.
Ensure project documentation is maintained accurately and updated regularly.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
3 years of experience in construction, fit-out, or infrastructure projects.
Strong hands-on experience in BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, and quantity take-offs.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Experience managing site execution and coordinating multiple contractors.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and MS Project or Primavera P6.
Knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and quality standards.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced site environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in commercial, residential, or mixed-use development projects.
Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and variation order management.
Knowledge of value engineering and project cost optimization.
UAE/GCC project experience is an advantage.
Candidate must already be based in Abu Dhabi.
