BMC – Dubai Branch is seeking a qualified and versatile faculty member to teach Physics in the Preparatory Year Program . This role is essential in equipping students with strong foundational knowledge in natural sciences to support their academic journey in health and medical disciplines. The ideal candidate will hold a Masters in Physics , demonstrate teaching excellence, and fulfill the academic standards set by the KHDA and QF Emirates .
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and interdisciplinary courses in Physics tailored to students entering health and medical fields.
- Ensure course delivery aligns with KHDA frameworks and the National Qualifications Framework (QF Emirates).
- Promote active learning, scientific thinking, and ethical awareness in scientific practice.
- Integrate technology and interactive methods to reinforce science concepts.
- Advise and support students academically during the transition from high school to undergraduate healthcare-related programs.
- Monitor student progress and contribute to academic interventions when needed.
- Collaborate in curriculum design and periodic review to ensure scientific accuracy and alignment with KHDA regulations.
- Contribute to quality assurance efforts, documentation, and institutional reporting.
- Engage in continuous professional development related to teaching, science education, and interdisciplinary methods.
- Participate in academic committees, student events, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Requirements
Masters in Physics from an accredited and recognized university.UAE MOE Equivalency Certificate is required or must be in progress at the time of hiring.Minimum 3 years of proven teaching experience in a higher education or preparatory program.Demonstrated ability to teach across multiple science disciplines effectively.English proficiency : IELTS Academic Band 7+ (or equivalent), if the academic degree was not completed in English.Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching science foundation courses in UAE or KHDA-regulated institutions.Familiarity with science education trends and student-centered learning.Ability to contribute to curriculum development in interdisciplinary health-related sciences.Seniority level
