Job Description

Electricians are responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing various electrical systems within the plant environment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The following are his key responsibilities.

• Installation and Maintenance : Install and maintain a wide range of electrical systems within the plant, including wiring, lighting, switches, control panels, and instrumentation.Conduct regular inspections of electrical equipment and systems to identify issues or potential problems.
• Routine Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts on electrical equipment, including motors, pumps, transformers, and circuit breakers.
• Troubleshooting and Repair : Diagnose electrical malfunctions or failures by testing circuits, analyzing electrical diagrams, and using diagnostic tools to pinpoint issues accurately.Take appropriate measures to resolve electrical problems promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
• Safety and Hazard Prevention : Implement measures to prevent electrical hazards by ensuring proper grounding, insulation, and protection against water and corrosion.Adhere to safety standards and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others.
