Job Overview

The Vice President – Finance (VP Finance) is a senior leadership role responsible for driving financial strategy, planning, and operational excellence across Legend Holding Group and its diverse automotive businesses. Reporting directly to the CEO (and working closely with the Board), the VP Finance will ensure financial stability, optimize resource allocation, and support sustainable growth. This role covers multi-brand car trading, rent-a-car services, new car dealerships, and after-sales service centers, ensuring financial alignment with the group’s strategic objectives. The VP Finance will also act as a key liaison with banks, auditors, and regulators, while building a high-performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Performance and Growth

Objective : Support revenue and profitability growth across all business units.

  • KPI : Revenue growth %, EBITDA margin, ROI by division.
  • Measurement : Consolidated reports, divisional dashboards (monthly / quarterly).
  • Cash Flow and Liquidity Management

    • Objective : Maintain healthy cash flow, optimize working capital, and ensure liquidity for operations and expansion.

  • KPI : Positive cash flow, debt-to-equity ratio, working capital turnover.
  • Measurement : Cash flow statements, liquidity ratio analysis.
  • Cost Optimization and Efficiency

    • Objective : Deliver annual cost savings (target 5%) without compromising quality.

  • Measurement : Variance analysis, expense reports.
  • Compliance and Risk Management

    • Objective : Ensure 100% compliance with UAE financial and tax regulations and mitigate financial risks.

  • KPI : Zero major audit findings, risk incidents resolved.
  • Measurement : Audit reports, risk management logs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Financing

    • Objective : Build and maintain strong banking relationships and secure favorable financing terms.

  • KPI : Number of active banking relationships, cost of borrowing, stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Measurement : Financing agreements, periodic feedback.
  • Team Development & Process Excellence

    • Objective : Strengthen finance team capability and drive automation / process improvement.

  • KPI : Training hours per employee, process improvements delivered annually.
  • Measurement : HR reviews, process documentation.

    • Qualifications & Skills

  • Education : Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. CPA , CFA , or ACCA highly preferred.
  • Experience : 8–10 years of progressive financial leadership, with at least 3–5 years in a senior finance management role (preferably in a multi-business / holding or automotive industry environment).
  • Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with UAE automotive and mobility sector (car trading, rental, dealerships, after-sales).
  • Strong financial analysis & strategy execution skills.
  • Excellent relationship management with banks, auditors, regulators.
  • Proficiency in ERP / financial systems and analytics tools.
  • Leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Attributes : Detail-oriented, results-driven, adaptable, and committed to compliance and ethical practices.
