We Are Hiring : Chief Engineer Crew Boat (Offshore)

Tormac Marine is looking for a qualified and experienced Chief Engineer to join our offshore crew boat operations.

Location :

Offshore (Middle East region)

Vessel Type : Crew Boat

Position : Chief Engineer

Joining :

Immediate / As per availability

Requirements

  • Valid COC (III / 2 Chief Engineer) STCW license.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as Chief Engineer on crew boats or similar offshore vessels.
  • Valid STCW certificates and medical (including Yellow Fever & COVID-19).
  • DP Maintenance certificate (if applicable).
  • Good understanding of marine engines and auxiliary machinery.
  • Strong troubleshooting and leadership skills.
  • Experience working under international flags or with multinational crew (preferred).

  • Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong technical knowledge of marine diesel engines and auxiliary systems.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and fault diagnosis under offshore conditions.
  • Familiar with planned maintenance systems (PMS).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and emergency protocols.
  • Education

  • STCW Chief Engineer CoC (III / 3 or III / 2 Near Coastal or Unlimited).
  • Valid STCW Training Certificates (AFF, PSCRB, MFA, ERM, etc.).
  • Minimum 2-3 years of offshore experience as Chief Engineer on crew boats or OSVs.
  • Valid Passport, Seaman Book, and Medical Certificate (ENG1 or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of ISM Code and marine safety management systems.
