IT Officer

We are seeking a skilled IT Officer to manage and support our organizations information technology systems The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of hardware software and network infrastructure providing technical support and implementing IT solutions to meet organizational needs Key Responsibilities Install configure and maintain computer hardware software and network systems Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff and endusers Monitor network performance and security addressing issues proactively Maintain and update IT documentation inventories and user manuals Implement cybersecurity measures to protect organizational data Manage backups data recovery and disaster recovery procedures Coordinate with vendors for hardware software procurement and maintenance Train staff on new technologies and software applications Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures Stay updated on the latest IT trends and technologies Qualifications Skills Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field Proven experience in IT support network administration or systems management Strong knowledge of operating systems networking and security protocols Relevant certifications e g CompTIA Cisco Microsoft are a plus Excellent problemsolving and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
