Magneto Developer - Dubai, UAE

We are currently looking to recruit a Magento Developer to based at our EMEA branch in Dubai, U.A.E.

As a critical member of the E-commerce team, the Magento Developer is primarily responsible for building and maintaining outstanding eCommerce sites on the Magento 2 platform. You will be dedicated to Digital Marketing and Website Design and development initiatives and will work closely with Information Technology, marketing, and graphic design teams. Success factors include being a dynamic and intelligent individual with strong web skills that will design front and back-end / user interface for digital initiatives. If you’re adept to working in a fast-paced, digitally-centric environment, are a collaborative and results-oriented self-starter who is technologically savvy, organised and able to operate well in a team under pressure, we’d like to meet you.

Requirements :

• Superior understanding of responsive website design and experience optimizing and refactoring front and back-end code for performance and speed
• Minimum of 2 years real-world e-commerce experience with Magento development in the last 2 years
• Prior knowledge and experience working with HTML, CSS, CMS, SEO, JavaScript, mobile, and heavy backend work is required
• Skill set should include substantial ability to code for multiple browsers, platforms and mobile devices
• Magento / Magento 2 Certified Associate Developer certification would be an added advantage
• Fluent written and spoken English is a must for this role
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to organise and prioritise numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints
• Should be able to take directions well and be a fast learner
• Above all, the ideal candidate must be highly motivated, enthusiastic and full of energy

• Maintain and extend existing modules, extensions, and plugins for the Magento 2 websites
• Develop and maintain custom Magento 2 sites, modules, and integrations
• Work cross-functionally to ensure the websites assigned are updated in line with the Digital & Marketing Plan
• Monitor, fix and resolve website issues promptly
• Work in creating, testing, and debugging front and back-end code
• Develop documentation for code, standards, and workflow
