Senior Manager, Business Development - Global PSF (Arabic Speaker) – GLG
The Senior Business Development Manager (New Business) – Professional Service Firms (PSF) will be responsible for identifying and growing business relationships across the MENA region by driving new business with leading consultancies and professional services firms for the region. This is a heavily outbound role and will require a “Hunter” mentality and intense hunger to win.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Senior Business Development executives on identifying potential clients
- High levels of outbound prospecting to drive growth for GLG
- Utilize content marketing and materials to develop leads
- Coordinating pitch meetings, architecting proposals, designing account strategies
- Leveraging GLG’s systems and tools to identify, diagnose, and present consultative solutions to potential GLG customers
- Close deals with executive clients
- Identify, meet with, and close deals with executive-level clients
- Articulate the value of our expert network, professional services, and client-facing software systems to prospects in order to win business
- Develop a business plan and sales strategy for assigned territories that executes against a high-revenue growth imperative and increased profitability
- Plan for and execute against a revenue target for a portfolio of prospects
- Engage key constituents at clients as a thought partner, with a heavy focus on senior-level decision makers, to understand these clients’ work, differentiate the company’s brand, and tailor value proposition to these critical influencers
- Coordinate closely with colleagues across company teams, particularly with stakeholders on client servicing teams

5+ years proven work experience in a Hunter or Business Development roleA clear track record of excellence in their career to dateDemonstrated success selling subscription-based services, ideally financial subscriptionsDemonstrated success selling information services and solutions to clients or experience selling consulting servicesStrong experience / network within the Consulting / Professional Services Sector is preferredStrong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsA demonstrated ability to manage sophisticated B2B relationshipsWillingness to travel and work among a global team of professionalsStrong leadership skillsA strong passion for persuasion – especially around complicated and intellectually challenging issuesUnderstanding of people and clear communication skillsResilience / strength of character : the willingness to take risks and overcome failuresTeamwork and professionalismAct with the highest integrity and professionalism in all endeavours and lead others to do the sameHave creative and entrepreneurial mindset; are interested in helping to build a business and to be compensated according to performanceHave demonstrated ability and initiative to handle increasing responsibility over timeBachelor’s degree or above or equivalent experienceFull business proficiency in Arabic & EnglishAbout GLG / Gerson Lehrman Group
