• Provide high-quality dental care to patients
• Administer x-rays and examine teeth and mouth tissue to diagnose issues or diseases
• Advise on proper oral hygiene and preventative care and treatments needed for maintaining optimal dental health
• Make referrals to other specialists when extra help is needed
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to address concerns
