Creating, improving, and maintaining content primarily on the Group website and other associated landing pages/sites as required, to achieve our group business goals.
Job Description:
- Developing content strategy aligned with short, medium-term, and long-term marketing objectives
- Collaborating with the comm, business teams to design, plan and develop site content, style, and layouts
- Developing an editorial calendar and ensure comm, brand teams are on board
- Creating and publishing engaging content
- Editing, proofreading, and improving language
- Liaising with comm team, agencies, and content writers to ensure brand consistency
- Optimizing content according to SEO requirements, working with the digital marketing/SEO specialist
- Using content management systems to analyze website traffic and users’ engagement metrics
- Managing content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic through back links etc.
- Ensuring compliance with law (e.g., copyright and GDPR, data protection)
- Staying up-to-date with developments and generating new ideas to draw audience’s attention
- Executing any other functional duties in the space of social media account management as and when required by the team lead
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing or relevant field
- This role is specifically for an Arabic speaker
- Must have excellent English and Arabic writing skills
- Proven work experience as a Content Specialist or a lead
- Hands on experience with MS Office, Concrete 5, Content stack or similar platforms
- Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
- Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
- Familiarity with all major social media platforms (1) social media content calendars for the group handles (2) scheduling and timely deployment of social release and (3) social listening and community management, whilst working with the social media/CRM specialist.
