Consultant Gastroenterologist

Job Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Gastroenterologist to join a prestigious medical facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and treating disorders of the digestive system, providing expert care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients with digestive system disorders
• Conduct specialized diagnostic tests, including endoscopic procedures, liver biopsies, and esophageal motility studies
• Diagnose and manage conditions such as GERD, IBS, Crohn's disease, and liver diseases
• Provide consultation and referral services for inpatient cases requiring gastroenterology expertise
• Offer emergency coverage for gastrointestinal emergencies outside working hours
• Supervise and educate endoscopy staff, nurses, and technicians
• Participate in quality assurance activities, including peer reviews, audits, and mortality conferences
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies and waste management procedures
