The Project Manager – AI & Automation is responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of projects that leverage content management, process automation, machine learning, and advanced analytics to drive business transformation for clients.
This role requires a strong combination of technical understanding, business acumen, and project delivery discipline. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with clients, solution architects, data scientists, and automation engineers to ensure the successful implementation of automation solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Project Planning and Initiation
- Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Prepare detailed project charters, resource plans, and cost estimates for AI and automation initiatives.
- Identify project risks and design mitigation and contingency plans early in the lifecycle.
- Establish governance structures and define communication cadences across business and IT
stakeholders.
2. Delivery and Execution
Manage full project lifecycle for AI and automation initiatives, including :o RPA deployments (UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, etc.)
o AI model development and integration (NLP, vision, chatbots, predictive analytics)
o Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) and workflow automation projects.
Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams including business analysts, data engineers, automation developers, and QA.Ensure timely delivery, adherence to SLAs, and high-quality outputs aligned with client expectations.3. Client and Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for customers during all project phases.Translate complex technical solutions into business value discussions.Manage expectations on timelines, cost, and deliverables, ensuring full transparency.Conduct steering committee meetings and executive project reviews.4. Financial and Commercial Management
Control project budgets, cost forecasts, and resource allocations to ensure profitability.Track change requests, billing milestones, and project-related revenue.Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and pricing models.5. Quality Assurance and Governance
Ensure that automation solutions follow defined architecture standards, compliance, and securityprotocols.
Implement standardized project documentation, templates, and best practices.Conduct UAT planning, deployment readiness checks, and post-implementation reviews.6. Leadership and Team Enablement
Lead cross-functional project teams and mentor junior project managers or coordinators.Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.Work closely with the Center of Excellence (CoE) for Automation to standardize frameworks and sharebest practices.
