Head of Wardrobe - Entertainment

On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in early 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About the Position :

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Head of Wardrobeto join theresort’s Entertainment Administrationteam.

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are :

• Manage the Wardrobe Department.Hire and train new employees.
• Lead the wardrobe team in providing andmaintainingall costumes, make-up, hats, headpieces, wigs, masks,shoesand other costume accessories at the highest level of quality for all performances.
• Support the production team byassistingwith the planning and strategy of the costume creation, load-inand the creative / rehearsal process of the production.
• Ensure the design integrity of the costumes, accessories,hairand make-up in liaison with the Costume Designer and Show Director.
• Ordering andbuilding ofall costume elements and wardrobe suppliesin a timely mannertoassureadequate inventory for performance needs and maximize return on investment.
• Provide cost effective solutions to wardrobe operations and the purchase of materials for costumes while stillmaintainingshow quality andmaximizereturn on investment.
• Oversee the integration of new costume and make-up elements into the production.
• Oversee and coordinate the proper maintenance and fitting of costumes, hats, masks,shoesand other accessories, includingdevelopmentof regular repair and cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Document all costume and make-up elements and respective costume cues and any respective changeson a daily basisduring the rehearsal process and throughall ofthe performances.
• Produce yearly wardrobe budgets and manage the department’s budgets and capital expense projections and oversee the supply,replacementand inventory of consumables.
• Oversee thetimelypurchase and / or making of new costumes, hats, masks, shoes,make-upand other costume accessories to ensure adequate inventory for performance needs.
• Maintain and update the costume plot, inventories,purchasingrecordsand associated documentation.
• Develop an on-going inspection of the individual costumes and make-up, workshop and stage installations andparticipatewithinspections regularly.
• Provide,developand coordinate the proper maintenance procedures and scheduling of daily repairs, fittings, dry cleaning and laundering of all costume elements.
• Create andmaintaintraining and back-up plans to ensure continuity in wardrobe operations.
