Our team works on both buy-side and sell-side due diligence, helping corporate and financial buyers gain confidence by analyzing and validating key financial, commercial, operational, and strategic assumptions.

What to consider before applying :

  • Previous experience conducting Financial Due Diligence (FDD) within the consumer markets sector is required.

Role Responsibilities

  • Identify and understand key drivers of a business and potential deal breakers (financial and non-financial).
  • Write and review financial due diligence (buy-side, sell-side or refinancing) reports for corporate, banking and private equity clients.
  • Build Excel-based data packs / playbooks including income statement projections, balance sheet, revenue analysis, etc.
  • Perform quality of earnings, net debt and net working capital analyses.
  • Coach and supervise junior team members.
  • Role Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of Financial Due Diligence and transaction advisory experience in a Big 4 professional services firm.
  • FDD experience in GCC-based transactions is preferred.
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Accounting qualification such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, ICAI, etc. is required.
  • Overall understanding of M&A from an FDD perspective.
  • Ability to read financial statements and management accounts and to challenge assumptions and analysis related to key value considerations.
  • Ability to succinctly write an FDD report highlighting issues with good written skills.
  • Ability to read a VDD report and assist the team with expert sessions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and counterparty representatives.
