Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for sales performance, customer satisfaction, and staff training and development. You will work to foster client loyalty and expand our brand presence. You will spearhead these efforts with a customer-centric attitude.
Operational
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Develop business strategies to increase customer pool, expand store traffic, and optimize profitability
- Complete store administration and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain excellent store condition and visual merchandising standards; ensure adherence to visual merchandising guidelines and provide inputs to the store visual merchandiser
- Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits, etc.
- Communicate innovative ideas to increase market share
- Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and current customers
- Ensure availability of merchandise and services by maintaining inventories and communicating shortages with the Central or Regional Distribution Center
- Secure merchandise by implementing security systems and measures and inspecting and adjusting damages as per SOPs
- Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment
- Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control
- Tour the sales floor regularly and identify and resolve staff and customer issues and grievances
- Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understand forthcoming customer initiatives, and monitor competitors' performance
- Ensure achievement of sales targets for the department and provide input in deciding the same
- Ensure adherence to shopping standards by conducting periodic audits of the department and taking corrective actions
- Ensure budgets for the store are managed and expenditures stay within the agreed budgets
- Ensure store administration is completed according to company procedures on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Drive initiatives to improve customer relationships and generate loyalty
