Senior Accountant

Are you a seasoned accounting professional with a strong grasp of financial regulations and a passion for working closely with clients Assist Plus Accounting Auditing is currently hiring a Senior Accountant to oversee and manage fullspectrum accounting services for a variety of clients This position offers handson client exposure and requires regular site visits making it ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic and relationshipdriven environment Key Responsibilities Manage the full accounting cycle including bookkeeping bank reconciliations and monthly closings Prepare accurate financial reports balance sheets and management accounts for a portfolio of clients Ensure strict compliance with IFRS standards UAE VAT regulations and all local accounting laws Handle VAT returns payroll processing budget preparation and audit support Visit client offices weekly for onsite reviews meetings and ongoing financial support Coordinate and liaise with auditors tax authorities and financial institutions when required Guide supervise and support junior or remote accounting team members Act as a trusted financial advisor to clients building and maintaining longterm professional relationships Requirements A degree in Accounting Finance or a closely related discipline Professional certifications like CA ACCA or CPA are highly desirable At least 5 years of handson experience in accounting with preference given to clientfacing or consultancy roles Indepth knowledge of IFRS UAE VAT rules and local regulatory standards Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for client interactions Proficiency in tools such as QuickBooks Zoho Books Xero or ERP systems Must be open to traveling weekly to client offices within the UAE Arabicspeaking candidates are encouraged to apply and will be given preference If youre seeking a role that blends technical financial responsibility with direct client engagement across varied industries this is your chance to thrive in a professional and collaborative firm
