We are looking for talented and motivated Rotating Equipment professionals to join our team in the Oil & Gas sector. Open positions include Lead Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer. The ideal candidates will bring strong technical expertise in engineering design, familiarity with international codes and standards, and proven experience working on Oil & Gas projects.

Key Responsibilities (based on role):

• Lead Design Engineer

• Lead and supervise all electrical engineering design activities for Oil & Gas projects.

• Review and approve design deliverables such as single-line diagrams, load schedules, cable sizing, equipment layouts, and protection schemes.

• Provide technical guidance to the electrical engineering team and ensure multidisciplinary coordination.

• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, client specifications, and international codes (IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA).

• Conduct vendor document reviews for electrical equipment (transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS, lighting, earthing, and cathodic protection systems).

• Manage project schedules, resource allocation, and ensure timely delivery of electrical engineering deliverables.

• Senior Design Engineer

• Prepare detailed electrical designs, drawings, calculations, and reports.

• Develop electrical load lists, equipment specifications, datasheets, and cable routing layouts.

• Perform power system studies (load flow, short circuit, motor starting, protection coordination) using relevant software.

• Support the Lead Engineer in technical reviews, vendor coordination, and client meetings.

• Ensure design compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.

• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to resolve interface and technical issues.

• Electrical Design Engineer

• Prepare electrical drawings, layouts, cable schedules, and single-line diagrams as per project inputs.

• Develop lighting, earthing, and small power designs.

• Assist in preparing equipment datasheets, material requisitions, and engineering deliverables.

• Carry out cable sizing, voltage drop, and lighting calculations under supervision.

• Ensure accuracy and quality of engineering deliverables.

• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and drafting teams for revisions and updates.

• Electrical Designer

• Prepare electrical drawings, 2D layouts, and 3D models using CAD/SmartPlant Electrical or equivalent.

• Develop cable routing, lighting, earthing, and equipment layout drawings.

• Ensure drafting quality and compliance with ADNOC and project-specific standards.

• Coordinate with design engineers to incorporate revisions and updates

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Lead Engineer: Minimum 12–15 years of experience in Electrical engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.

• Senior Engineer: Minimum 10–12 years of experience in Electrical engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.

• Design Engineer Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Electrical engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.

• Electrical Designer -Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Drafting.

• 5–10 years of experience in preparing electrical drawings and layouts.

• Prior experience on ADNOC projects is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of international standards (API, ASME, ISO).

• Excellent communication, vendor coordination, and teamwork skills.
