Planning Engineer

The Planning Engineer is responsible for developing maintaining and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely completion of construction and engineering projects They coordinate with various departments to plan resource allocation track progress and identify potential delays or issues ensuring projects adhere to established timelines and budgets Key Responsibilities Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 MS Project or similar planning tools Coordinate with project teams contractors and stakeholders to gather information and update project plans Monitor project progress against the planned schedule and identify deviations Prepare progress reports highlighting delays potential risks and corrective actions Assist in resource planning and allocation to optimize project efficiency Conduct schedule risk analysis and suggest mitigation strategies Liaise with site teams to ensure alignment between planning and actual site activities Ensure compliance with project timelines budgets and quality standards Maintain documentation related to project schedules updates and revisions Qualifications Skills Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field Proven experience as a Planning Engineer or similar role in construction or infrastructure projects Proficiency in planning and scheduling software Primavera P6 MS Project etc Strong understanding of project management principles and construction processes Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
