Land Surveyor

Qualifications

• Conduct field surveys to establish property boundaries, topographical features, and construction layouts.
• Operate and maintain surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, drones, and digital levels.
• Collect, process, and analyze survey data using CAD and GIS software.
• Prepare accurate survey drawings, maps, and legal boundary descriptions.
• Verify survey data accuracy, including measurements and calculations.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure designs align with survey data.
• Maintain and update survey records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal surveying regulations and standards.
• Manage survey crews and delegate tasks when required.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical advice to project teams and clients.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
