Details of the Division and Team :
The Investment Manager is a primary point of contact for clients to access the entire suite of investment capabilities, insights and solutions offered by Deutsche Bank Wealth Management. This is achieved by working in close partnership with the Relationship Manager in the day-to-day planning and servicing for the client.
The individual leverages the insight and expertise of the Deutsche Bank Wealth Management Chief Investment Office and the global and regional investment committees to provide advice around long-term thematic investment opportunities, short-term tactical trades and asset allocation. The Investment Manager employs a wide range of asset classes and capabilities, leveraging the knowledge from dedicate product specialists, to address clients’ needs holistically, including lending and financing, deposits, discretionary and advisory portfolio management solutions, capital markets, private markets, alternative investments and wealth planning. Investment Manager will have accountability for total investment AUM, revenue, asset retention and contribution towards business mix goals.

Your key responsibilities :
Act as the central point of contact for clients’ investment needs / advice and be responsible for increasing share of wallet from existing clients.Partner up with the Relationship Manager to serve clients across a defined portfolio.Serve as strategic advisor on client’s overall investment portfolio, and drive holistic portfolioconstruction and asset allocation activities, delivering the CIO view to clients and ensuring portfolios are built and overseen accordingly.Assess clients’ overall risk appetite and keep client risk profiles up-to-date and regularly reviewed.Responsible for execution of all investment trades and conduct portfolio reviews with assigned clients and relevant internal partners, highlighting and fill any gaps where required.Own overall suitability and appropriateness of all investments for the client; ensure that allcorresponding checks are performed.Collaborate with the relationship manager on account behavior and flag relevant updates, and on input for KYC.Collaborate closely with key internal partners, including discretionary portfolio managers and DBWM’s entire range of product specialists to deliver the firm’s best capabilities, solutions and investment thinking.Proactively identify needs and corresponding opportunities to originate solutions across capital markets, discretionary mandates, advisory mandates and alternative investmentsProactively seek to manage and control investment portfolio risks while maximizing financial returns in line with regulations.Support Sub Region Head in strategy execution i.e expanding the Global South Asia footprint through offshore and onshore collaboration.Monitor clients’ asset allocation across investments and provide ideas for rebalancing across product spectrum based on CIO view.Support the Relationship Managers in their new client acquisition efforts through participation in client pitches and showcasing Deutsche Bank Wealth Management capabilities.Act within professional, legal and ethical boundaries and guidelines, observing all internal and external compliance regulations and code of ethics and conduct; flagging and managing reputational risks and conflicts issues.Your skills and experience :
8 or more years of relevant investment experience of which min of 5 years in wealth managementProven experience in portfolio construction and asset allocation, with knowledge and understanding of private clients and U / HNWI client needs.Managing and / or advising on multi-asset class portfolios for clients across traditional and alternative assets opportunistic / idea-driven investingFluent in delivering a capital market outlook from both an investment strategist’s view (i.e., top down) and a manager’s view (i.e., bottom up) with the purpose of articulating why suggested allocations and solutions are appropriate for a given investment objective and market environment.Experienced and comfortable in leading investment discussions in one-on-one meetings and small groupsEvidence of past success at building a business by attracting assets, principally as a result of the ability to quickly gain the confidence of a client.Fluent in discussing performance attribution.Have a good understanding of the governing regulatory framework including but not limited to applicable confidentiality / secrecy / data protection regulations and cross border rules where relevant.Ability to introduce existing client relationships a plus.Additional desired experience / attributes
