Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Computer Aided Design Operator. The CAD Operator will be responsible for using software to create detailed 2D and 3D designs for metal fabrication projects. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting design briefs and technical drawings, creating accurate models, ensuring all designs meet quality, precision, and safety standards, and revising designs based on feedback. The role also involves coordinating with team members to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience in steel structure shop drawings submission
• Structure detailing and fabrication drawings
• Proficiency in Computer Operations and Computer Literacy
• Experience in Back Office Operations and Typing skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and technical skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience in metal fabrication or related industry is a plus
• Certification or degree in CAD drafting, engineering, or related field
