Cloud Operations Engineer

1. Cloud Infrastructure Management :

Manage public cloud resources including servers networks databases and container clusters.

Ensure optimal performance and security of cloudbased infrastructure.

2. Application Stability :

Monitor and maintain the stability of our connected vehicle platform applications.

Implement measures to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.

3. Daily Maintenance :

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates issue resolution emergency response and technical support.

Document and report on all maintenance activities and incidents.

4. Process Improvement :

Contribute to the development and refinement of operational workflows and best practices.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.

5. Incident Management :

Respond promptly to system outages or performance issues.

Conduct thorough investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

6. Technical Support :

Provide technical assistance and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders.

Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements.

Requirements

Job Title : Cloud Operations Engineer

Work Location : Dubai UAE

Role Type : Outsourced Full Time Long Term OnSite

Language requirement : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Contract : Standard 2 years

Industry : Automotive

Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations or a related role.

Cloud Computing : Proficiency with public clouds such as AWS Microsoft Azure and Alibaba Cloud.

Technical Skills :

• Strong knowledge of Linux databases (MySQL Redis Kafka MongoDB) and containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus.
• Experience with high availability design observability and operational processes.
• Preferred : Prior experience in project management product management or knowledge of app development / clientside technologies.
