Network Security Engineer

Overview

The Network & Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network and security infrastructure. This role ensures the high availability, performance, and protection of systems supporting mission-critical operations across entertainment and leisure venues.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in network engineering and cybersecurity, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Management & Support : Design, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN solutions
• Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure availability and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, minimizing downtime
• Security Operations : Implement, manage, and monitor firewalls, IDS / IPS, and VPNs
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, implementing corrective measures
• Infrastructure Projects : Contribute to IT infrastructure projects, ensuring secure and efficient deployment
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to evaluate and integrate new technologies
• Compliance & Governance : Enforce security policies and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.) across IT systems
• Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams, configurations, and controls
• Work closely with IT, applications, and operations teams to support business initiatives
• Provide guidance and technical training for junior engineers
