Building and Infrastructure Manager - Testing & Inspection

We are looking for Building and Infrastructure Manager to be at the forefront, leading the Building and Infrastructure (B&I) business with full accountability for P&L, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. This role demands in-depth understanding of the construction and infrastructure sector in GCC.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans aimed at growing and sustaining our market presence and profitability.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators and other stakeholders.
- Oversee the daily operations of the Building and Infrastructure business, ensuring optimal performance and client satisfaction.
- Lead initiatives to enhance SGS competitiveness and ensure a proper market share.
- Work on the replication of SGS global success solutions and promote the use of inhouse digital and AI tools as applicable.
- Develop new services tailored to the clients / market needs providing high added value and generating high margin (Engineering related services, Consultancy services, Project management, etc.)
- Contribute to the tendering and bidding process and ensure the compliance of the technical and commercial proposals and be part of the contract review and negotiation when needed.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes, ensuring our services remain competitive and compliant.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.10+ years of experience in building and infrastructure management, with a strong track record in leading mega projects.Candidates should have consultancy and / or quality background. Candidates from TIC industry will be given priority.Recent work experience in GCC region is mandatory.Proven P&L management experience, with strong strategic planning skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.Agile and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions.#J-18808-Ljbffr
