Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction techniques, and quality control processes. Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and ASME. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Quality certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) are a plus.
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled QA / QC Engineer with expertise in MEP projects to ensure the quality and compliance of our projects with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control plans for MEP projects, including inspections, testing, and documentation.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify any deviations from project specifications and work with the project team to address them.
- Review and approve materials and equipment used in MEP projects to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Monitor the implementation of quality assurance procedures and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues and improve project performance.
- Prepare quality reports, documentation, and non-conformance reports as needed.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and technological advancements related to MEP projects.
