Job Summary :

We are currently seeking an experienced Appointed Person to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The Appointed Person will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of lifting operations on our client's worksites. This role requires a highly organized and safety-focused individual with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities :

• Act as the main point of contact for all lifting operations on the worksite, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and create lifting plans for all lifting operations, considering factors such as load weight, equipment, and environmental conditions.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of crane operators, riggers, and other lifting personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of lifting equipment and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and certified.
• Monitor and report on the progress of lifting operations, addressing any issues or delays that may arise.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are aware of the lifting plan and any potential hazards.
• Keep accurate records of all lifting operations, including risk assessments, lifting plans, and equipment inspections.
• Train and mentor junior lifting personnel to ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices.
