Overview

Position : General Manager – CVD Diamond Manufacturing Plant (UAE)

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in CVD diamond manufacturing.
  • Proven leadership in greenfield projects, including equipment selection, plant commissioning, SOP establishment, and ramp-up.
  • Deep technical expertise in MPCVD (915 MHz and 2.45 GHz), HPHT annealing, diamond cutting / polishing integration, and QA systems.
  • Irradiation equipment!
  • Strong international exposure, preferably with UAE or global assignments, and ability to manage a multi-cultural workforce.
  • Proven ability to build and lead a high-performing team of 100+ staff, with a track record of motivation, retention, and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated success in running operations as a profit centre, meeting KPIs on uptime, yield, and cost-per-carat.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of representing the company with investors, suppliers, and government authorities.

Has experience of complete manufacturing of CVD diamonds from seed level manufacturing to complete growing of CVD, diamonds of exceptional quality and small and large sizes of crystal clear quality as well as fancy, Coloured diamonds.

Can build up the complete organization for manufacturing of CVD diamonds from end to end and also capability to coordinate and have polishing infrastructure built-up in Surat.

Compensation & Benefits (Indicative) :

  • Base Salary : No bar for a suitable candidate, it will be matching to the most motivated and international firms of a category levels.
  • Housing Allowance : AED 180k – 300k per annum.
  • Transport : Company car + allowance.
  • Family medical insurance + annual return business-class airfare.
  • Performance Bonus : 25–60% of base salary, KPI-linked.
  • LTIP / Sweat Equity Option : 0.25%–0.75% with vesting.
  • Full relocation and schooling allowance where required.
