Role description
We are seeking a talented and hands-on Application Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Application team with the development and testing of food and beverage (F&B) formulations. You will assist in experimental trials, analyze results, and contribute to product innovation and quality improvement.
With a background in flavour applications, the ideal candidate will work closely with Application Technologists to implement new recipes, ingredients, and technologies suitable for our markets.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist in formulating and testing new and existing F&B products.
- Support tasting sessions preparation.
- Prepare customer samples, including labelling, packaging, and shipping coordination.
- Ensure applications comply with quality and safety standards.
- Manage inventory and raw material orders.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and collect data.
- Maintain accurate documentation of test results.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment; keep workspace clean and organized.
- Collaborate with R&D, Sales, and PMO teams to align product development with business goals.
Participate in meetings and training to enhance your skills in technology and applications.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Food Engineering, or related field.At least 4 years of relevant experience in flavour or F&B industry roles.Knowledge of ingredients, recipe formulation, and processing.Understanding of food safety regulations and standards.Good sensory evaluation skills.Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Experience with laboratory equipment and experiments.Experience in research or application laboratories.Attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.Motivated, proactive, collaborative, hands-on approach.Proficiency in O365, especially Excel, and web research skills.Why you'll love working here
