About the Job :

An opportunity has arisen for a Director - Architecture ,to join the Architecture and Spatial Design teamin Jumeirah Group & Corporate. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include :

• Lead design direction and scope development for new builds, refurbishments, and PIPs, ensuring alignment with Jumeirah’s brand identity and guest experience standards.
• Oversee and approve all design submissions including architectural, landscape, interior, FF&E, signage, and materials, ensuring quality and brand consistency.
• Conduct site appraisals and recommend qualified design consultants, contributing to strategic project planning and execution.
• Manage multiple projects through all phases—from feasibility to opening—monitoring timelines, identifying risks, and ensuring milestone delivery.
• Liaise with owners, technical services, and consultants to coordinate design development, mock-ups, and reviews while ensuring compliance with sustainability standards (e.g., LEED, BREEAM).
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership, maintaining accurate documentation and driving innovation through design research and trend analysis.
