We're Hiring! Internal Control and Compliance Specialist

Location : Dubai UAE

Industry : Building Material

Department : Internal Control

Reports to : Internal Control and Compliance Manager

Join a global leader in the building material industry and play a critical role in ensuring compliance integrity and operational excellence. We are looking for a dedicated Internal Control and Compliance Specialist to strengthen our internal control framework and drive continuous improvement across our processes.

Key Responsibilities :

Internal Control & Compliance Framework

  • Design, implement, and monitor internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure process integrity.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews of internal controls, reporting findings and action plans.
  • Work closely with business owners to remediate control deficiencies and strengthen compliance.
  • Lead the development and rollout of policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Audit & Risk Management

  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address audit findings.
  • Ensure prompt and effective implementation of corrective actions.

    • Training & Awareness

  • Conduct training sessions and prepare materials to build understanding of internal control practices across the business.
  • Promote a culture of compliance and risk awareness.

    • Health Safety and Environment (HSE)

  • Support the implementation of HSE policies and actively promote a safe working environment.
  • Engage with employees, subcontractors, and visitors to raise safety awareness.

    • Legal and Ethical Compliance

  • Act as a role model for compliance with company regulations, including Code of Business Conduct, Anti-Bribery, and Conflict of Interest policies.

    • What We're Looking For :

    5 years of experience in a similar role within a multinational environment

    Professional certifications in internal audit, compliance, or risk management are an advantage

    Excellent communication and collaboration skills

    Languages : English is required; Hindi and Arabic are a plus

    Strong problem-solving mindset with a drive for continuous improvement

    Proficient in internal control best practices and risk-based thinking
