Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with local regulations and company standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of project sites, facilities, and equipment to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Provide HSE guidance and support to project teams, subcontractors, and vendors, promoting best practices and proactive risk management.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and develop corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct HSE training sessions and toolbox talks for employees to raise awareness and enhance safety performance.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and stakeholders on HSE-related matters, maintaining compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Monitor HSE performance metrics and trends, and implement initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and drills, and provide support during emergencies as needed.
  • Champion sustainability initiatives and environmental conservation efforts across company operations.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent (subject to approval by ADNOC Group) is a MUST .
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HSE within the construction industry, preferably in the UAE
  • Preferably an HSE Engineer already approved by ADNOC, or a candidate eligible for ADNOC approval awaiting successful completion of the exam / selection process.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven leadership abilities and a proactive approach to safety and environmental management.
  • Fluency in English
