The IT Associate provides technical support and assistance to ensure the smooth operation of the organizations computer systems networks and software applications They troubleshoot hardware and software issues support users and assist with IT projects to enhance operational efficiency Key Responsibilities Provide firstlevel support for hardware software and network issues faced by employees Install configure and maintain computer systems peripherals and software applications Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly to minimize downtime Assist in managing user accounts permissions and access controls Conduct routine system updates backups and security checks Support IT asset management including inventory and procurement Collaborate with the IT team on projects upgrades and system improvements Document technical procedures and user guides Educate users on best practices for IT security and usage Maintain confidentiality and security of organizational data Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field Proven experience in IT support or a similar role Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems Familiarity with networking concepts protocols and hardware Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
