The Hotel General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel ensuring excellent guest service managing staff maximizing profitability and maintaining high standards of quality and safety The GM leads the hotel team to deliver a memorable experience to guests while achieving business objectives Key Responsibilities Operational Management Oversee all hotel departments including front desk housekeeping food and beverage maintenance and sales Ensure the smooth functioning of daily operations Maintain high standards of service quality and guest satisfaction Financial Management Develop and manage budgets control costs and maximize revenue Prepare financial reports and analyze performance metrics Staff Leadership Recruit train and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service Conduct performance evaluations and foster a positive work environment Guest Relations Address guest complaints and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction Implement strategies to increase repeat business and guest loyalty Marketing Sales Develop marketing strategies to promote the hotel Build relationships with corporate clients travel agencies and other partners Compliance Safety Ensure adherence to health safety and legal regulations Maintain high standards of cleanliness safety and hygiene Facility Management Oversee maintenance and renovation projects Ensure the hotel infrastructure is in excellent condition Qualifications Bachelors degree in Hotel Management Hospitality Business Administration or related field Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role Strong leadership organizational and interpersonal skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to analyze financial data and develop strategic plans Knowledge of hospitality software and property management systems
