Develop, implement, and manage the sustainability strategy, programs, and initiatives within the organization.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into the core operations and culture.
Identify material issues and establish sustainability goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track organizational sustainability progress and impact.
Ensure communication of sustainability data collection and analysis through an annual sustainability report, adhering to internationally recognized standards.
Key Tasks :
Support the ESG strategy by tracking KPIs and sustainability goals.
Manage ESG data flow to stakeholders and collaborate on ESG program development and adaptation.
Assist in the preparation, administration, justification, and monitoring of the annual Environment, Sustainability & Climate Action budget.
Identify and develop cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses to assess the financial implications of sustainability initiatives, seeking ways to make sustainability economically viable.
Maintain and apply a deep understanding of the sustainability and ESG landscape, including regulatory requirements, reporting frameworks, rating agencies, and best practices.
Stay updated on relevant regulations, anticipate regulatory changes, and assess risks and opportunities in the sustainability and ESG space.
Ensure organizational compliance and advocate for necessary change.
Represent the organization in sustainability-related events, conferences, and forums.
Support sustainable practices within the industry and broader community.
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager / supervisor and act on their behalf when necessary.
