Department Overview
Director of Sales to drive the strategic sales of Silent Sentinel's advanced, long-range surveillance camera systems across the MENA region. This role supports regional sales teams, channel partners and direct customers to accelerate revenue in key vertical markets such as Defence, Government, Critical Infrastructure, Maritime, and Oil & Gas.
Job Description
- Strategic Sales Leadership : Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Silent Sentinel products, coaching and collaborating with regional sales teams and partners to identify, qualify, and close complex, high-value opportunities.
- Market & Channel Development : Develop and execute an MENA-specific go-to-market strategy, including recruiting and enabling key system integrators, distributors, and technology partners for Silent Sentinel solutions.
- Technical & Commercial Support : Lead solution-selling efforts, including customer presentations, product demonstrations, competitive positioning, and assisting with complex bid responses (RFPs / RFQs).
- Pipeline & Forecasting : Maintain a robust sales pipeline, provide accurate and timely sales forecasts for the Silent Sentinel portfolio, and ensure sales targets are consistently met or exceeded across the region.
- Customer Engagement : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations in the MENA region.
Basic Requirements
Education : Bachelor’s Degree.Experience : 4+ years of experience in technical sales, public safety, or military / defense markets.OR 8+ years of experience in the same fields in lieu of a degree.Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise : Knowledge of infrared imaging, long-range thermal sensors (MWIR / LWIR), and electro-optical (EO) systems.Industry Knowledge : Proven track record of selling into State and Local Government, Border Security, or the Oil & Gas sector.Tools : Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Google G-Suite.Soft Skills : Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills; ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.Leadership : Experience managing indirect teams or working within a complex, matrixed global organization.Travel : Ability to travel extensively (>50%) to meet with clients and attend regional events.
