Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records of all financial transactions.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining accounting ledgers and reconciling bank statements.
  • Prepare and post journal entries to ensure proper recording of business transactions.
  • Support in cost accounting activities, including expense tracking and preparation of cost reports.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Assist during internal and external audits, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the finance team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and cost accounting practices.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems) is an advantage.
  • Skills

  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Integrity, confidentiality, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
