Lifting Supervisor

The Lifting Supervisor oversees all lifting operations onsite ensuring safe and efficient handling of loads in compliance with safety regulations and company policies They coordinate with crane operators riggers and other personnel to execute lifting activities safely effectively and on schedule Key Responsibilities Plan coordinate and supervise all lifting activities onsite Ensure all lifting equipment is inspected maintained and operated safely Verify the suitability of lifting gear and accessories before use Conduct risk assessments and safety meetings related to lifting operations Supervise crane operators riggers and other team members involved in lifting tasks Ensure compliance with safety standards regulatory requirements and company policies Maintain records of lifting operations inspections and safety checks Report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately to management Liaise with project managers and other stakeholders to plan and schedule lifting activities Provide guidance and training to team members on safe lifting procedures Qualifications Proven experience as a Lifting Supervisor or similar role Relevant certifications such as NCCL National Crane Lifting Certification CSCS or equivalent Knowledge of lifting equipment safety standards and regulations Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and load charts Good organizational and problemsolving skills Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging environments
