WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The Civil/Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing, assessing, and supervising civil works and structural components in sewage network refurbishment project and wastewater treatment projects. This role ensures structural integrity, regulatory compliance, and effective coordination across engineering and project teams.

* Conduct structural assessments of existing sewage network assets (pipelines, pumping stations, etc.).
* Design and validate structural components and modifications for plant civil works.
* Ensure the structural integrity and compliance of sewage network components.
* Review, update, and prepare detailed construction and structural drawings.
* Coordinate with project and maintenance teams to implement civil/structural solutions.
* Evaluate and propose repairs for deteriorated sewage networks / pipelines and other civil structures
* Supervise construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance of sewage networks / pipelines and other civil structures
* Prepare BOQs and specifications for civil works.
* Support cost estimation and control for civil engineering activities.
* Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and safety regulations.
* Track progress, prepare status reports, and participate in regular technical meetings.
* Assist in procurement planning related to structural materials and civil items

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
*At least 3 years of UAE experience as a Civil Engineer
* Abu Dhabi resident is a must.
* Driving license is a must.
* Proficient in structural analysis and design software ( AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
* Strong understanding of construction materials, pipeline repairs methods, and standards.
* Knowledge of structural safety, load calculations, and geotechnical considerations.
* Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
* Capable of working collaboratively across departments to resolve civil/structural issues.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
