الوصف الوظيفي10 Years for Diploma in Engineering and 5 years for Degree in Engineering with experience in a LSAW pipe mill or a Spiral pipe mill or similar experience. Good understanding of SAW (Submerged arc welding), GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) , SMAW(Shielded Metal Arc Welding),and FCAW( flux cored arc welding) Good understanding of not only Standards (API 5L, API 2B, AWS, ISO3183, DNV OS-101), but also the Customers’ specifications (Shell spec., Total spec., Aramco spec. etc.) .
Al Gharbia is a joint venture between three partners : Senaat, one of the UAE’s largest industrial investment holding companies, JFE Steel, the 8th largest steel manufacturer in the world, and Marubeni Itochu Steel, provider of commercial and logistical support to some of the world’s largest oil and gas companies. Each of them makes a distinct, invaluable contribution to the project.
We are urgently looking candidate for Welding Engineer
Minimum Qualifications :
- Three year science degree, Three years Diploma in Engineering or Four year degree in engineering
- AWS certification and ISO 9606-1 or EN 287-1.
- Additional Preference to International Welding Engineer / International Welding Technologist, CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2( welding inspector or senior welding inspector.
