Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer with strong experience in interior fit-out and construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring progress, preparing reports, and coordinating with project teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within the planned schedule.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in fit-out projects and be comfortable working with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field. 3–7 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in construction, interior fit-out, or contracting companies. Strong experience in interior fit-out projects is mandatory/preferred. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project. Good knowledge of project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting. Experience preparing baseline programs, progress updates, look-ahead schedules, and recovery programs. Understanding of construction and fit-out project activities, sequencing, and dependencies. Experience coordinating with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers. Good understanding of project timelines, critical paths, and resource requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good command of MS Office, particularly Excel. Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills. UAE experience in construction/interior fit-out is an advantage
